baby blues

Crying for no apparent reason, poor concentration, mood swings, insomnia even when the baby is sleeping, impatience, anxiety, fatigue ,sadness and irritability. All these, not during pregnancy, but after delivery.

These are symptoms of  “baby blues ” , occurs with some women right after delivery. Not uncommon , but doesn’t happen with all women.

This is as a result of one or more of the following; hormonal changes , emotions from experiences during delivery, disruption of routine.

Yes, we know you are super woman, but keeping this experience to yourself is the worst method of handling it. Go out there , talk to a professional or experienced person about it , keep a journal where you write your thoughts and feelings , if you hate writing like some of us do, start a Vlog –LOL. Eat right, and take short walks for fresh air.

Baby blues don’t stay blue forever, your favorite color eventually comes up 14 days after delivery.
