Melania Trump delivered a speech Monday at the Republican National Convention that featured several lines that were basically word for word identical to a speech Michelle Obama gave at the 2008 Democratic National Convention.

What’s most striking about Mrs. Trump’s speech (aside from being absolutely hilarious) is that while many of her plagiarized lines are just generic platitudes, they sound so much better coming from the first lady. That’s the thing about Michelle Obama: people can hate all they want but there’s no denying that she exemplifies excellence in nearly all that she does, from her inspirational speeches to her empowering work for girls and women. She’s one of the best first ladies in history, and any woman (or man) who steps into her shoes when President Barack Obama leaves office has huge shoes to fill.

Here are just a few reasons why FLOTUS has untouchable swag:

FLOTUS is full of nuggets of wisdom on how to be a boss, and this is one of the realest.
    • 2 Her relationship with POTUS.
Over the last eight years, it has been amazing to witness the genuine love, respect and partnership between the first lady and the president. Beautiful!
    • 3 She’s here for girls and women.
Throughout her tenure as FLOTUS, Michelle Obama has worked tirelessly in the interest of girls and women not just in America but around the world. From hosting the recent United State Of Women summit, to her Let Girls Learn initiative, the first lady has used her platform to effect real change for women.
    • 4 Her genuine passion for health and fitness.

The first lady employs the diet and exercise practices that she’s been encouraging the rest of the nation to do, too, with her “Let’s Move!” campaign. Respect.
    • 5 Her hair, her arms, her style.
Look at her. She’s intelligent, accomplished and inspiring with amazing hair, flawless style and a rocking body? Girl, stop.
One of the best moments in Mrs. Obama’s last year as FLOTUS was when she and President Obama helped 106-year-old Virginia McLaurin realize her dream of visiting the White House and meeting the first black president and first lady in February.
    • 7 She’s never been afraid to have a little fun.
As FLOTUS, Michelle Obama has always been poised and graceful, but she also has never taken herself way too seriously. Case in point: this moment on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” where she helped to demonstrate some iconic “Mom Dances.”
    • 8 She can actually dance, though.
Look at that bounce. We won’t be seeing moves like this from a first lady for a while.
    • 9 She’s vocal about the realities of being black in America.
FLOTUS has always been unapologetically black, and unafraid to speak out about what it means to be black in America. In a commencement speech at Tuskegee University in 2015, she reminded black students to persevere even though people will make assumptions about them based on their backgrounds.
    • 10 Her epic side-eye.
And she doesn’t care what you have to say about it.
    • 11 She cares about our military.
In 2011, FLOTUS and Dr. Jill Biden launched Joining Forces, an initiative that helps provide veterans and active military service members and their families with access to education, employment and wellness programs.
    • 12 She declared that “Black Girls Rock!”
At BET’s 2015 “Black Girls Rock!” the first lady (while looking flawless) enthusiastically declared the phrase, reaffirming the magic of black girls and women even though some people declared her “racist” for doing so. Bye, haters.
    • 13 She’s funny.
There have been too many moments to mention where FLOTUS’ natural sense of humor and personality have shined through. Some of her best moments, of course, are when she’s riffing with the president.
    • 14 She’s an amazing mother.
Not only has Michelle Obama managed to make some amazing social and political accomplishments as FLOTUS, she’s also managed to raise two beautiful and intelligent young ladies in the process.
    • 15 She was an amazing and dedicated first lady. Period.
We’ll miss you, too! ?
