CHOOSING a baby name can be a difficult process.
Especially with traditional names being pushed to the side in favour of unusual celebrity baby names.
With names like North and Wyatt, Luna and Amada and even Trixie topping the baby name list in the celebrity world, picking a name has never been harder.
But a professor of psychology at the University of California – Albert Mehrabian – has been researching the best and worst names you could choose for your child.
His research was based on whether a name was judged good or bad according to other people’s perception of it.
Albert eventually wrote a book and ranked baby names based on how successful, ethical, caring, fun and popular they seemed.
Kate was a strong contender for the most successful name, which no doubt has something to do with the Duchess of Cambridge.
Katherine and Catherine were also on the list.
The least popular names and thus unsuccessful included Wilma and Tina.
