It’s an even better idea to sleep on your left side so that blood flow to the placenta increases. Also, habituate yourself to keep your legs and knees bent and place a pillow between your legs.

Sleeping on the back can cause problems with breathing, digestive issues, low blood pressure and back pain. In this position, the entire weight of your baby rests on your intestines and major blood vessels. It can also cause snoring. So it’s a big NO!

    I normally sleep on my side An put pillow under my belly An lay my belly on pillow. Sometimes put one between my legs to get a good rest of sleep. But for sure I lay belly on pillow

    Hmm. Can’t sleep without laying on my tummy. Maybe when it gets to 4 months I can adjust… the belly ain’t big yet.
