I was the only child on my father’s side for about 8 years! It was fun and I was so spoiled. After he had another child everything just changed. So I would have to agree with all of these reasons because I experienced it

Alot of people grow up believing that being the only child is boring and not fun at all but, its not so bad after all. Being the only child is a great because you dont have to worry about fighting your siblings not always getting your way or feeling that your other sibling is getting more attention than you are. Being the only child can come with great oppourtunites

I always wondered if my son who is 3 mo, would like being a only child, because I don’t plan on having anymore kids! His father and I both grew up with siblings so I wasn’t sure what it would be like for him. Good insight!
