But a video shows little Evie taking a sip of the fizzy beverage for the first time and her little face scrunches up before she recoils in shock, trying to process this strange sensation in her little mouth.

She throws her head back, as if to distance herself from the drink, but when she pulls her head back up her eyes gleam and she looks a little high from the drink.

The adorable tiny girl then takes another sip.

It is unlikely that she slept well for her parents that night.

Dr. William Sears said on parenting.com that an occasional sip of soda, as a treat, is not likely to do long-term harm your child, however soda has some clearly harmful biochemical effects.

‘Caffeine causes a buzz to children’s brains at a time in their development when many are already dubbed “hyperactive.”
