They say the young couple are actually 16, which is still underage for a legal marriage to take place.

According to Beijing News, authorities said the two teens’ families decided to arrange a unofficial ceremony after the girl fell pregnant.

She and her boyfriend were filmed wearing traditional red costumes during the lavish event.

A photographer works frantically to get the best shots of the stunned-looking couple, while music is performed in the background.

Stunned viewers have asked why the kids appeared to be “forced” into the ceremony.

“They are still children. How could they shoulder their responsibilities in the future?” one social media user asked.

Its not just other cultures. In school in usa i knew 11 year olds sleeping around. My grandma got married at 14 and my mom was married and had me at 16. It says they were actually 16. If they are old enough to sleep around and have a baby then they are old enough to marry. They will be parents soon so its time to grow up faster than they shouldve. Alot of families even in america feel its shameful to have a baby out of wedlock that young.
