For those of us who have children, do you remember the first time you held your first child? This woman’s priceless reaction when she coddled her premature baby brought back memories for many netizens. One mother wrote: “Definitely the best feeling in the world.”

She shed tears of love when the nurse placed tiny Hugo gently on her chest. A profound bond was apparently forged between the mother and baby, as Collinson gave her tiny newborn a back rub. Her reaction was priceless.

“Despite the stress surrounding it, it was a very strong moment of peace, being able to hold him,” Collinson told TODAY, alluding to that amazing moment.

On Dec. 22, 2015, Collinson delivered Hugo via emergency C-section in a hospital in Calgary, Canada, ten weeks before his due date, after doctors realized that he had stopped growing.

After Hugo was born, he was taken to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at a different hospital for over 2 days. Little Hugo’s dad, Micheal Burritt, captured this heartwarming moment shared between mother and baby on video.

“I was hoping to catch a moment and I caught something a lot more,” Burritt told ABC News.
