A boy who was stabbed many times by his father and left for dead, has forgiven his dad and still loves him, and wants to let him know about his heartfelt love!

Anthony Sukto was eight years old in 2004, when his dad, Tony Sukto killed his mom and turned to kill him next. The little boy called 911 dispatchers after his dad left the house when he thought both of them were dead.

“Please help me. My daddy killed me with a knife and I’m gone. I woke up suddenly. My dad, he was killing my mom. And then my dad told me to go on the other bed, and then he was like, ‘You’re next.’ Then he killed me… I was still alive. I kind of survived,” he had said to the dispatchers, according to Huffington Post.

Anthony’s was stabbed six times in the face, neck, and stomach. As the dispatchers searched for the house address, Anthony’s father returned and Anthony quickly hung up the phone.

Fortunately, the police arrived and captured his dad when he returned, but the little boy was struggling to survive.

“I threw up a prayer right there. I didn’t know if he was going to make it. I’ve seen a death look, as we call it, before. And he had that look in his eyes,” Sergeant Mark Eakes who was present at the scene told Oprah in 2006.

Luckily, Anthony survived and told Oprah how angels had told him to play dead and helped him call for help. “The angels lifted me up to the phone,” he said.

“Anthony, as you probably already know, is an incredible kid. Anthony has courage. He reminded us all of what that is,” Sergeant Eakes said.

Ten years after the incident in 2015, when Anthony was a senior in high school and living in Texas with his aunt and uncle, “Oprah: Where Are They Now?” show contacted him to check on him.

“I’ve been doing great. I’ve got a lot of support from my aunt and uncle, and friends,” he said.

Tony Sukto was sentenced to over 25 years of imprisonment for first-degree murder. Despite being stabbed by his dad, Anthony hopes to talk to him one day. “Once he’s up for parole, I’d actually love to sit down and talk to him. I’m sure he doesn’t know that I still forgive him and I love him. I just want to tell him that,” he said.

Fireman Jeff Colquhoun who was at the scene that year had described Anthony as an inspiration in Oprah’s show. “He’s survived in spite of an incredible tragedy. And yet, since day one, nothing but a smile from him, every single day,” he said.

This is an incredible young man and he was a very strong kid. It just goes to show how good God can be. This boy doesn’t have a mother because of his father and almost lost his life but yet he has forgiven his father for what he did and still whants to have a bond with him. That is just amazing!!!!!!
