Would you stop to help a child wandering on the street with no clothes on? It’s sad that not everyone would do so, as many people have become desensitized by seemingly endless amounts of poverty and injustice in the world. Yet, here is one young man who did do something for such a child, and netizens are now applauding his actions!

Seggo Loberes and his friend Josh Rabanal, both from the Philippines, were out on a drive one day when they spotted a street kid who was naked, wandering the streets in the pouring rain, according to various media reports.

At first, the two friends had just been joking around, saying how Seggo looked like the kid. It then dawned on Josh that maybe they should lend the boy a hand. He reached into the back of the car to get something.

It seemed they both thought of the same thing at the same time. Josh grabbed a shirt from the back, while Seggo told him to give it to the kid to wear.

While Josh helped the boy put on the over-sized shirt, Seggo filmed the act of kindness, before posting it to his Facebook page. Afterward, the video went viral, with netizens applauding both of them for their good deed.

While many netizens offered praises such as, “God bless both of you!” there were some critical comments as well.

One netizen wrote: “I can do this too you know all of us can do it without posting to any social media … But why you need to upload a video? For publicity? So netizens can see your kind and generous? Always be a ninja work in silent.”

In defense of the two helpers’ actions, one netizen wrote: “You should not be negative. Posting things like these can encourage others to help less fortunate people. If you do the same, do not post.”

Another shared: “That is the only way they can help still I admired these kind of people because they don’t hesitate to give a little some.”

Other netizens offered praise: “Good job.. hope it inspires other and help the needy :)”
