The cyber world can be a dangerous place when netizens start judging people based on a photo, without knowing the whole story. That’s what happened to an Illinois mom who came under fire after a stranger snapped a photo of her waiting in an airport, on her smart phone, with her baby on the floor.

In 2016, Molly Lensing was waiting in a Colorado airport with her youngest daughter, Anastasia, who was then two months old. They had been visiting family and were returning home. That’s when a man snapped a photo of them and uploaded it to social media. The photo of Lensing using her smart phone with Anastasia on the floor very soon received harsh criticism against her.

The man had uploaded the photo with the caption: “Albert Einstein said, ‘I fear the day that technology will take on our humanity … the world will be populated by a generation of idiots.’”

Lensing learned of the criticism only after it had gone viral.

Speaking to TODAY Parents and revealing what really happened, Lensing explained, “We had the unfortunate luck of being stuck in the middle of the Delta computer shut-down.”

She had apparently spent over 20 hours at the airport with her baby. “Anastasia had been held or in her carrier for many hours. My arms were tired. She needed to stretch and I had to communicate with all the family members wondering where the heck we were,” she explained.

Lensing, who works part-time as a pediatric nurse, felt upset to have had her photo taken without her consent.

She said, “I absolutely feel as though my privacy was violated. I had recently started working on a labor floor, and I was terrified of my co-workers or boss seeing the photo and comments and believing that I should no longer work with infants. Thankfully, this never happened.”

Though it has already been one year since the incident, Lensing still thinks of the photo and comments, but she knows how she should deal with it.

“I ignore the photos and the comments and lean on those close to me who know the real me. I am powerless compared to the Internet, and I know that I am the best momma to my girls and I know that I cherish them and am raising them the best I can,” she said.

Whatever situation it may be but still she should not put the child on the floor instead she can make the child slept on the chair by her side by making a soft bed with any kind of clothes she had in her lagguages.

You people are ridiculous! If putting her baby down to have some freedom to stretch out like ALL BABIES LIKE AND NEED TO DO is the worst thing she does, I’d say she’s a damn good mom. You act like she had her baby lying in a cesspool of flesh eating bacteria….
