According to a Fox 2 Detroit report, a Detroit mother recently gave birth to her third set of twins.
Arlena Bomer, who already has twin 9-year-old boys and twin 1-year-old girls, gave birth to a baby boy measuring 4 pounds, 8 ounces and a baby girl weighing 2 pounds, 14 ounces just before her 41st birthday, according to the article.
Bomer now has nine children and has told Fox 2 that she has no plans to have any more.
“Oh no, I looked insane, I couldn’t believe it,” she explained. “They had to give me some water and cover me with a cloth.” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.
“Of course, I was crying and gazing and crying because I couldn’t believe what I was seeing — three sets of twins, man.”
Arlena welcomed her third set of twins into the world. The boys, 9-year-old Jamal and Jordan, were the first, followed by the girls, 1-year-old Leah and Lena, and now this twin bundle of joy.
“The contractions started coming the next thing I knew,” she explained. “I arrived at four o’clock and had them at four-thirty-eight.”
Dwight Anderson, the father, seemed to be in good spirits, despite the fact that twins run in his family on both sides.
“I’m just delighted — pleased that they’re here, happy that they’re healthy,” Dwight explained.

Dwight’s grandma had twins and triplets in two sets. Added to that:
“I’m a twin, and my twin brother has 12 kids, and he doesn’t have any twins,” Arlena joked.
The twins arrived a month early, but both are doing well in the NICU, with a baby boy measuring 4 pounds, 8 ounces and a baby girl weighing 2 pounds, 14 ounces.
Names are still in the works, as is a larger home.
“I named the girls, so I’m going to delegate this to mom,” Dwight explained.

“There’s ample room for them.” “That’s what I’ve got right now, and that’s what I’ve got to work on,” Arlena explained. “Because they aren’t arriving one by one.”
