A Georgia town is mourning the death on Sunday of a loving mother of two and the wife of a Canton police officer. Brianna Lee, 25, died less than two weeks after giving birth to her second daughter, Amelia. “Brianna Lee is survived by her husband and two lovely children. Their firstborn is William Lee. The description on a GoFundMe campaign set up on behalf of their family reads, “[He] is the cutest youngster you’ll ever meet.”

Brianna died after sustaining a brain damage, according to Atlanta-based NBC affiliate WXIA-TV. “I don’t know what happened to her,” Jesse, her 26-year-old husband, who can’t believe his wife is no longer alive, said. He added, “[She] was totally fine an hour before it happened.” Jesse and Brianna’s relationship lasted nearly a decade. The couple met during their final year of high school and have been married for five years.

One day, Jesse happened upon Brianna, who was crying outside her school. “Later that evening, I texted her, stating I was available if she needed anything. The rest is history, as they say “the bereft spouse reminisced Because of Jesse’s profession in the Marine Corps, the pair continued to move across the world after finishing high school. They ultimately married and welcomed their lovely children into the world. But Jesse is no longer surrounded by the love of his life.

“There’s no replacing her,” the bereaved spouse said. “She was the one. Everyone claims to have a one-of-a-kind. She belonged to me. She was, she is, and she always will be. I’m not sure what I’ll do if she doesn’t return, “Added he. Domenick Marotta, a coworker in the police department, expressed his disbelief as well, adding, “What transpired was disastrous. It came as a complete shock.”

Despite the unspeakable loss, Jesse finds solace in the fact that his wife had the opportunity to spend time with her daughter before her untimely death. “She was over the moon when we found out we were having a daughter,” he told WXIA-TV. “There aren’t enough words to express how ecstatic she was. I’m simply grateful she got to spend at least a week with her. She appeared to be the happiest she’d ever been, at least in a long time.”

Meanwhile, the fundraising page detailed how the neighborhood has banded together to “make meals to be delivered to the residence on a regular basis” and to “collect as many essentials as possible.” It also encourages others to lend a hand to the family during this difficult time. “We know it takes a village to raise a family in these challenging times. Not to mention Jesse’s ability to care for his family and maintain some kind of normalcy in his life “It is written.

“We need all of your prayers and support as he and his family continue their journey to understand this new environment. Without a doubt, the fight will not end with the money raised, but it is a step toward something this family does not have to worry about right now. Please find it in your heart to help this family in any way you can “It went on and on.
